A & M Recycling
A&M is specialised in the collection, dismantling and recycling of all kinds of waste such as: metal and cable residues, demolition batteries, catalytic convertors and containers. The entire back-office is currently supported by CLEAR, thus allowing A&M to replace many standalone systems and Excel sheets and integrate them into one system, with all the advantages that that brings with it.
Afvalservice West (ASW)
Afvalservice West (ASW) is responsible for collection of household waste in four boroughs of Amsterdam: Geuzenveld-Slotermeer, Oud-West, De Baarsjes and Bos en Lommer. These four boroughs collectively have over 137,000 residents and 3,000 connections/ underground containers. ASW has implemented CLEAR in support of the collection process.
Afvalstoffendienst ‘s-Hertogenbosch
The Afvalstoffendienst Den Bosch works integrally with CLEAR. They also utilise CLEARWeigh and Diftar. Given that all mini containers are equipped with a unique chip, the pickups can take place in a fully controlled manner. Which container has been picked up and which hasn’t? Which containers are registered as missing and should therefore not be picked up. Based hereon, the imposing of assessment can also take place.
Attero ( previously Essent Milieu)
Essent’s "Essent kit" has been developed by GMT. This Kit ensures that the weighing data from various locations where the management is outsourced to firms running CLEAR are exported in a uniform manner to Essent’s SAP system.
AVR – Van Gansewinkel
The newly integrated company is made up of two major business divisions: Van Gansewinkel provides waste services and AVR performs all activities in the area of sustainable waste processing. The new merger has, given its economy of scale, firmly established the integrated company as one of the leading waste and environmental service providers in Europe. AVR - Van Gansewinkel is the largest waste and environmental service provider in the Benelux. More than 6000 employees in 9 countries serve nearly 50,000 customers on a day-to-day basis. The company operates within the entire waste chain, from initial sampling to final processing, including all intermediate steps such as collection, recycling and production of raw materials and fuels. Van Gansewinkel has rolled out CLEAR across its sites in the Netherlands. CLEAR serves as a very important gauge for implementation of a uniform business template, which has led to the harmonisation of business activities in Van Gansewinkel, but has left Van Gansewinkel’s focus on the regional market still intact. CLEAR is deployed in the commercial, operational and financial departments of Household Waste, Sales, Roll Container, Hazardous Waste, Storage and Shipment and Crane activities, among others. Within the framework of the integration of both companies, AVR - Van Gansewinkel has decided to automate all collection, shipment and small scale dangerous waste activities of AVR with the CLEAR application of GMT such as is implemented by Van Gansewinkel.
Bewa Recycling Moerdijk
At the Bewa Groep Moerdijk, different activities take place at the various business units. Vetveredeling Moerdijk B.V. is responsible for the sale and refining of edible fats and oils for use in technology and animal feed. Tank Terminal Moerdijk B.V. is responsible for the storage and shipment of animal feed products and/or other neutral products. Diervoederbewerking Moerdijk B.V. is involved in the treatment of products from the food industry, so that the product can be made suitable for use as moisture-rich animal feed. Organic Material Recycling Moerdijk B.V. OMR Moerdijk is specialised in the collection, receipt and treatment of residue waste flows from the food industry. Bewa’s weighbridges are connected to CLEAR. CLEAR is also linked to the tanker fleet.
Brabants Afval Team, Stadsreiniging Tilburg
The municipality of Tilburg is the 7th municipality of the Netherlands. The BAT uses CLEAR as back-office system.
CEGEKA
GMT Europe and GMT Services, as CEGEKA subcontractors, are responsible for the technical application management for a major player in the waste industry. In addition to daily regular system and application checks, GMT also performs database tuning activities and Disaster & Recovery tests.
CESPA (Spain)
CESPA is part of the big Gruppo Ferrovial and focuses on supplying waste-and environment services and waste processing and -recycling in Spain, Portugal and Andorra. In Spain CEPSA services about 12 million households and over 10.000 commercial clients. In subsidiaries all over the country CLEAR is used for planning and billing.
Collin B.V.
Collin has set up a multifunctional residue and raw material centre where virtually all waste flows are recycled after collection. The entire back-office is supported by CLEAR.
Dublin City Council
Dublin City Council (Ireland) has chosen GMT Europe as service provider for the full implementation of “Pay as you throw” (polluter pays) in the city of Dublin. The project will comprise the implementation of Diftar modules from CLEAR.net, the supply of 40 advanced, touch-screen on board computers, RFID readers on the vehicles’ loading systems and the entire implementation of the total solution. GMT has contracted the company Manvik for the installation of the vehicles. During the site visits, the delegation from Dublin was not only impressed with our knowledge of Diftar, the coverage and ‘look & feel’ of the software and the software’s performance but they were also very impressed with the magnificent locations that were visited.
G.P. Groot Containerservice B.V.
GP Groot makes integral use of CLEAR. All collection vehicles are equipped with onboard computers that are integrated with the CLEAR back-office. This CLEARMobile concept provides added value to GP Groot, given that the onboard computers are fully integrated with the office’s CLEAR system. Planners therefore receive from the vehicles live information about activity status, and new jobs can be sent to drivers with a “click of the mouse”. Information - such as weighing data - is exchanged digitally between vehicle and office, eliminating unnecessary paperwork and accelerating the billing process significantly. Any required paperwork can be printed out directly in the vehicle. e-CLEAR also supports the www.leegmijncontainer.nu concept. Customers submit an online roll container pickup request, using their login code. They will receive a message as soon as pickup is completed: 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. The QlikView reporting/analysis tool is used as well.
Gemeente Assen
The Work Unit/Waste Management Department of the municipality of Assen uses CLEAR integrally as back-office system. CLEARWeigh runs at the CA site. Due to efficiency and monitoring considerations, Assen has decided to automate its CA site. In addition to the weighbridge, a column with a badge reader is also installed. The municipality’s residents and businesses can, to a certain extent, have their waste collected at no cost by using the municipal environmental pass that is provided to them. Non-residents of the municipality are therefore filtered out due to the lack of such passes and must pay cash for the pickup.
Gemeente Haren (Gr.)
For the collection of household waste, the municipality of Haren works closely with the Groningen Environmental Department. Responsibility will continue to rest with the municipality of Haren. Civilians will receive services in accordance with the Diftar principle. CLEAR will be used to enter the data received from onboard computers into the Diftar registration, where data exchange will occur with the levy administration.
Gemeente Kampen, Stadsbeheer & Milieu
The Kampen municipality works closely with the ROVA (waste advice, direction and removal organisation) for the collection of household waste. Civilians will receive services in accordance with the Diftar principle. CLEAR will be used to enter the data received from the onboard computer into the Diftar registration, where data exchange will occur with the levy administration.
Gemeente Skasterlân
The municipality of Skarsterlan uses CLEAR as back-office system.
J.B. Langezaal B.V.
Langezaal Haaksbergen, an environmental and waste processing specialist, is also specialised in implementing infrastructure projects. It operates mainly in the east of the Netherlands and the bordering area in Germany. The entire back-office is supported by CLEAR.
Jansen Recycling B.V.
“A good start is a job well done”. A. Jansen B.V. is capable of serving its customers efficiently through an extensive package of products and services, suitable for the implementation of large-scale projects as well as small, specialised projects in the area of civil engineering works (GWW), demolition, waste processing, production of green concrete, production of concrete products and transport of bulk and specialist cargoes. The entire back-office is supported by CLEAR.
Milieudienst Groningen
The Groningen Environmental Department is responsible for the orderly collection and processing of waste. And this does not have to do only with the regular household, garden and kitchen waste of over 100,000 households in the district of Groningen, but also with the diverse and complex collection of commercial waste. For this purpose, the municipality has fully implemented CLEAR as back-office system. CLEARWeigh runs at the CA site. For the waste calendar and bulky waste pickup request, they use eCLEAR.
NEDVANG
GMT and Active Professionals have partnered together for Nedvang to develop the functional design for Nedvang’s Waste Tool software. Waste Tool was developed for Nedvang to register and report the amount of separately collected packaging waste, to reduce the administrative costs of the local governments. Waste Tool enables you to easily manage and view statements, payment proposals and reports.
NETWERK
Netwerk provides (separated) waste collection and cleaning services such as sweeping streets, pumping sludge, slipperiness control for the municipalities of Dordrecht, Zwijndrecht, Alblasserdam, Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht and Papendrecht. Netwerk additionally carries out the waste management for increasingly more companies in Drecht cities and surroundings. Netwerk Bedrijven has developed into a commercial company with a surprisingly multifaceted services package. The solid basis for this is shaped by extensive know-how, expertise and a comprehensive fleet of equipment. Netwerk is also characterised by a very powerful, company-wide implementation of CLEAR that supports the entire operational process; from initial customer contact to billing. The CA sites, too, are automated with CLEAR and form an integral part of the automated process, as does the successful Internet portal for civilians that is integrated with the CLEAR system. The first underground containers were recently linked to CLEAR as well, making disposal data available and enabling immediate billing, if necessary. CLEAR also enables access to the underground containers (through passes).
NV ROVA
ROVA serves as the waste advice, direction and removal organisation for tens of municipalities in the Netherlands like Dalfsen, Hardenberg, Kampen, Olst-Wijhe, Ommen, Raalte, Staphorst, Steenwijkerland, Twenterand, Zwartewaterland, Zwolle, Regio IJssel-Vecht, Aalten, Apeldoorn, Hattem, Heerde, Oost Gelre, Amersfoort en Afvalverwijdering Utrecht (AVU), Meppel, Urk en (vanaf 1 januari 2009) Winterswijk. ROVA makes integral use of CLEAR into which it has integrated its Diftar concept. It also works with CLEARWeigh and e-CLEAR. ROVA is currently implementing CLEARMobile and uses the QlikView reporting/analysis tool to draw up reports.
Peute Papierrecycling BV
Peute Papierrecycling BV is one of the largest, independent, old paper companies in Europe. Peute has at its location in Dordrecht one of the largest capacities for processing household waste paper in Europe. CLEAR supports the operational and logistics process from weighbridge to accounting. The sales and transit module in CLEAR is being developed for and with Peute. This functionality matches purchase orders to sales orders.
Recycling Centrale Korevaar B.V.
Korevaar BV is the collective name for a wide range of activities. Thus within Korevaar BV there is the contracting firm Korevaar that performs such activities as asbestos removal, demolition works, earthworks, landscaping and paving. Then there is the Recycling Centrale Korevaar that, with its multitude of waste containers, has the ability to manage virtually all waste flows. Today, with its significant number of waste containers, which come in various dimensions and designs, the recycling centre serves an extensive customer base. The company also has a sorting system with weighbridge installed at Meerkerk, where containers are sorted by waste type and delivered to various end-disposal sites. The recycling branch has opted for a company-wide implementation of CLEAR which the weighbridge is integrated.
Reinigingsdienst Maasland
The Maasland cleansing service works for various municipalities in central Limburg. Civilians receive services in accordance with the Diftar principle. CLEAR is used to enter the data from the onboard computer into the Diftar registration, where data exchange occurs with various levy systems.
ReinUnie
ReinUnie, recently affiliated with the HVC (Household Waste Centre), collects waste from nearly 65,000 households in the municipalities of Beverwijk, Velsen and Heemskerk. ReinUnie makes integral use of CLEAR, including the grafische.net client for planning. Thus using the onboard computer, jobs can be dragged and dropped to provide a clear graphical overview of availability of vehicles/people. Conflicts, such as personnel absence or vehicle breakdown, become immediately visible and can be quickly rectified. The QlikView reporting/analysis tool is used as well. The ReinUnie CA site works with CLEARWeigh.
Reshare (Leger des Heils)
ReShare helps municipalities, schools, retailers, companies, unions and private entities to separate textile from waste and thus collects over 25 million kilograms of clothing per year. Reshare makes integral use of CLEAR. All collection vehicles are equipped with onboard computers. The CLEARMobile concept helps ReShare in achieving more efficient and professional collection services.
ROTEB Services
Roteb provides Rotterdam residents with work and a clean city, laying the foundation for a good economic and social climate. It uses CLEAR as back-office system for sewer cleaning and pest control. Civilians submit requests for bulky waste pickup via eCLEAR.
Scherpenzeel B.V.
Scherpenzeel BV is an independent, countrywide organisation, specialised in collecting and processing old paper for the graphics industry. In the early 80s, it expanded its activities to include the collection, transport and destruction of paper and digital information carriers. In its continued commitment to better tailor its services to meet customer needs, Scherpenzeel offers a total package as “specialist in waste management” or otherwise as a one-stop shop for all waste management needs. In this framework, CLEAR has been implemented as back-office system functionality.
Selikor NV, Willemstad, Curaçao
Selikor, the cleaning service of Willemstad, Curacao, deploys CLEAR as back-office system. The weighbridges at the shipment & recycling facilities are connected to CLEAR.
SITA France
SITA France is part of Suez Environnement, a worldwide operator. SITA France employs 20.000 people. At the end of the ‘90’s the CLEAR roll-out was completed country-wide. Every day CLEAR is used by over 1.000 concurrent users for all domestic and commercial collection and recycling activities.
SITA Nederland
SITA is specialist in waste management and among the top 3 players in Europe and throughout the world. SITA has an extensive services package tailored to the needs of the business community, government and specific subfields such as hazardous waste. A very innovative customer, likewise in the field of automation, it has implemented CLEAR into the entire operational process. A few examples of this are the fully integrated weighing facilities that are linked online to the planning tool in the CLEAR system, enabling immediate processing of schedules and weighing data received from drivers. Also, nearly all vehicles are equipped with onboard computers that are fully integrated and communicate with the CLEAR system at the office. Planners therefore receive live information (e.g. position, status of activities and additional pickups) from the vehicles. New jobs can be sent to the drivers with a “click of the mouse”. All information is sent digitally, eliminating unnecessary paperwork and significantly accelerating the billing process. Any required paperwork can be printed directly in the vehicle. SITA Nederland has approximately 500 concurrent CLEAR users.
SITA U.K.
Sita U.K. is part of Suez Environnement and has 5.000 employees, it services 12 million households and over 35.000 commercial clients. CLEAR is used daily by approximately 400 concurrent users. The SITA U.K. state-of-the-art ICT department has also implemented Sonic and has thus realised a “Service Oriented Architecture”. Sonic also connects 80 (un) manned processing sites with the CLEAR application. Billing and debtor control for both divisions is also done through CLEAR.
Spaarnelanden NV
Spaarnelanden was founded to professionalise the waste management obligation of the municipality of Haarlem. For the cleaning services, Spaarnelanden has implemented CLEAR and the graphical planning board to ensure that the entire operational process is integrated into one sector-specific system, from contracts, local areas, generation of routes, plans, operation to billing. The resultant insight and supervision of the entire process leaves you with a hankering for more. Subsequent integration plans for CLEAR (onboard computers and weighbridges) are already in place.
Van Kaathoven Groep B.V.
The Van Kaathoven Groep comprises 3 divisions: Transport, Processing and Sales. These divisions use CLEAR as back-office system. The weighbridges at the shipment & recycling facilities are also connected to CLEAR. Van Kaathoven has integrated and automated the entire primary administrative process, from initial customer contact to billing.
Van Woudenberg B.V.
Van Woudenberg B.V. in Renkum carries out the transport of goods by road, trade in goods and collection, sorting, treatment and disposal of waste for private entities and companies. Its working method is reflected by its motto "waste wise and road savvy". The entire back-office is supported by CLEAR, resulting in a good handle on the operational process.
Wolfswinkel Reiniging
Wolfswinkel Reiniging is specialised in household waste collection, street cleaning, sludge removal and street sweeper and container lease. Today, the entire back-office is supported by CLEAR, as a result of which Wolfswinkel has migrated from a rolodex and loose invoices in Word to a fully automated process.
